We recently moved into a house with a small in ground pool. The surrounding trees make regular cleaning a must. I started looking at automatic pool vacuums and most designed for in ground pools run $500 and up. I decided to take a chance on the Apier Scuba SE 2024 model because of the smaller size of my pool and have to say so far I’m pretty impressed.I have slightly sloped walls and the pool has a shallow and a deeper end, so the floor is slightly sloped as well. The description and the instructions clearly say this product is designed for flat bottom pools so I knew it was iffy but for the price point worth it to me.I’ve used to three times so far at this little vacuum does a remarkable job. Yes, it struggles going from the deep end to the shallow end and the slight slope on the walls causes it to make some funky patterns but before it runs out of power it cover the entire bottom. It picks up medium to small things and surprise me by even picking up sand I couldn’t see (we live at the beach).If it lasts the season it will be completely worth the $150 I paid for it. I still need to vacuum the large leaves but I can probably get by with only once or twice a month with this thing running.
