Not a good size for a diving gem. ok for playing inside.My son and I have fun diving for these in the pool. They gems are a good size. The other pieces are kind of small. I’m not sure how they will hold up but they are cheap enough to purchase again. Some of the gems have gotten scratched or a tad banged up throwing them in but they are made of a thin, hard plastic. They’re a good size for older kids but too small for children that put things in their mouths. They sparkle under the water making it fun and easy to find. I would recommend them.The quality and value is fine but these are two small, like 1.5”, to be good diving toys, and the gems have points. No good for a pool!!! I’m giving it 3 stars because they are nice toys, just not for what they advertised. They ended up in my son’s kinetic sand box.My grandson and his friends at the pool loved these! It helps them put their heads under water to gather jewels. Big hit!Packaging has no label or markings; looks like it was put together by someone buying items in bulk and repackaging them at a much higher price--in other words, this would not be for sale on a shelf in a store, only at a garage sale or flea market for a buck or two. They are not actual dive toys--just clear plastic pieces that could be purchased at a hobby store. Most of mine have scratches and chips. Plastic storage box is super cheap and flimsy too. Plus, six of my "colorful gems" were clear--making them impossible to see in a pool. I should have paid more attention to the listing and photos, but I foolishly based my decision on the rave reviews. I should have known better. They're really pretty, sure, but once in the water most of them are so translucent that they're near impossible to spot and they're so light that they drift around and get lost easily. They're likely to get sucked into the filtration system and I worry that they could potentially cause damage.Bought these to take on holiday with my children - despite the pool water being freezing, my 6 and 10 year olds spent the whole time diving in and out collecting them. Great product, not cheap but they are solid and good qualityKept my daughter entertained in the pool for agesBought for a holiday where there would be lots of pool time but they didn't even make it to the pool, my niece just loves sorting and collecting the jewels and assigning everyone their colour!Good value kids love em when they playing pirates lookin for treasure .
